| Meet Maggie our Millinery Princess Once upon a time, there was a sweet girl named Maggie. Maggie had beautiful long, red hair and the most adorable freckles sprinkled over her nose and cheeks. Maggie felt embarrassed by her freckles and her red hair so one day, she decided to make a hat to cover both and adorned this hat with what ever she could fine. She used ribbons, flowers and delicate lace trims. Now she felt quite comfortable and please with herself. As she strolled down the main street of town, the social ladies admired her workmanship and creative touch. They pleaded with Maggie to also make her a hat and soon she was titled by all the ladies in town, "The Millinery Princess". Maggie was designed and created by Susan Wakeen in her studio in Litchfield, CT. |
